The Peloton bike displays your real-time resistance level, so it's easy to set to the precise level, but since there isn't a 3rd-party resistance sensor, my DIY setup means you have to get a feel for the right level.

Nothing on the bike will talk to peloton. No bike other then their $2000 bike will.
